Bring your stock list from a spreadsheet

Import your products, prices and stock counts from a CSV file, and export them back out.

  1. 1

    Start from the template

On the Products page, choose CSV template for a file with the columns Qovah knows, or Export CSV to start from what you already have. Open it in a spreadsheet.

  2. 2

    Fill it in

One product a row: its name, category, price, SKU, barcode and stock count. Keep codes as text so leading zeros stay. Leave the stock count empty for things you don't count, and put 0 for things that have run out.

  3. 3

    Import and match the columns

Choose Import CSV and pick your file. Qovah shows your columns beside its own, so a file from another system works too: match each one, or leave it out.

  4. 4

    Check the preview

Before anything changes, Qovah lists what will be added and updated, and any rows with problems, like a stock count that isn't a whole number. Fix those in the file and import again.

  5. 5

    Confirm

Everything goes in at once, or nothing does. Stock counts replace the ones you had for this branch; prices are in your business's currency. Importing the same file again changes nothing.
