Close the day

Count the drawer, see if it's short or over, and leave a float for tomorrow.

Recorded in Qovah. No sound.

    Open Orders › Cash-ups

    It shows everything since the last close: orders, takings by cash, mobile money and card, the float you started with, and the cash that should be in the drawer.

    Count the cash

    Choose Close the day and type what you counted. Qovah shows straight away if you're short or over, and how much to bank.

  3. 3

    Leave a float

    Type what you're leaving in the drawer for tomorrow, and add a note if something needs explaining.

    Approve and close

    If a cashier is closing, a manager enters their PIN to approve. The day is listed under Closed days with who closed it.
