Sell from the online till

Sign your business up in a browser, sell from a laptop, tablet or phone, and run the order board with every desktop offline.

Recorded in Qovah. No sound.

  1. 1

Open the online till and choose to sign up. It walks you through what the desktop's first run asks: your business and what it does, your currency, the features you want and a colour, then your Qovah Cloud account and your PIN. There's no plan to pick and no card: your business starts on 14 free days of Cloud Growth, and you choose a plan later in Settings › Plan & billing.

  2. 2

    Sign this browser in

An owner signs a browser in once, with their Qovah Cloud email and password, and it becomes one of your business's tills, in a branch. From then on, staff pick themselves and type their PIN. It locks itself after 15 minutes without use.

  3. 3

    Sell

On Sell, tap items to add them. Prices come from Qovah Cloud, worked out exactly as your desktop tills do, with options, promotions and taxes. Choose Take payment to send a payment link, a mobile money prompt, or take cash, card or mobile money on your own terminal.

  4. 4

    Run the orders board

Orders shows every order from every till, live, even with your desktop tills offline. Move each one along — Start preparing, then Mark ready — until it's collected or delivered. Managers and owners cancel and refund with their PIN.

  5. 5

Keep selling through a lost connection

A browser you've already signed in on keeps a cash receipt it takes while Qovah Cloud is out of reach, and sends it as soon as the connection is back. Payment links, mobile money prompts and loyalty across branches need the connection.

  6. 6

    Items and photos

Managers and owners add and change items on Items, with a photo, a price and stock. Changes reach every desktop till by sync.

  7. 7

    Settings

Owners turn online orders on, choose pickup and delivery with your own delivery zones and fees, and set the payout account where online payments settle.
